Which photo works best for your Santa camera video
The AI builds the whole scene from your one photo, so a good photo makes a much better Santa clip. Six things that help:
- Go wide. Stand in a corner or doorway and take the whole room, like a security camera would see it. Close-ups of the tree leave Santa no room to walk.
- Lights on. Daylight, lamps or the tree lights all work. Very dark photos give muddy results.
- No people or pets. The photo should be an empty room. (FableCam asks for this too.)
- Leave floor space in front of the tree or fireplace, so Santa has somewhere to kneel and put down a present.
- Hold the phone level and still. A tilted or blurry photo makes a tilted, blurry clip.
- Pick the room your kids will believe: where the stockings hang, where presents appear, or the front door if you have a doorbell camera.
Good spots
- The tree — the classic. Santa kneels and leaves a present.
- The fireplace — great with the indoor night cam look.
- The front door or porch — pair it with the doorbell cam look (how).

FAQ
Can I use an old photo?
Yes, as long as the room looks like it does now — kids notice a missing tree. Is my photo kept? Uploaded photos are not stored after the AI photo is made; for paid orders the photo is deleted as soon as the videos are made.
